Six friends camp on Cherokee lands where they learn that a tribal elder
used dark magic to call upon evil spirits there, nearly a century
before. The ground is rumored to be littered with stones bearing the
marks of demons, which serve as gateways to the mortal realm. Upon
human contact, the demon may possess the body of the one who touched
it’s stone. The group is reassured that the symbolic stones will remain
dormant until a descendant of the elder enters the land, but the campers
soon find themselves trapped by an invisible barrier and searching for
an answer as the demons possess them one by one.
An imaginative, well-shot, fast-paced film by talented independent
director Eric Stanze. Fans of gore should be sure to check this one
out.
